The Dance Gallery’s Class Dress Code

All dancers are required to wear a cover-up over their dance attire to and from the studio.
Please label all shoes with dancer’s full name.
Hair must be pulled back from face. *High buns make tumbling difficult for our preschool aged dancers.
No gum, food or drinks are permitted in building with the exception of water bottles.

Preschool – First Grade Dancers

Leotard with or without skirts (no two-piece or bra-top style outfits)
Tights (footed or footless) or dance leggings. *If you choose footless tights, dancer must wear socks.
Tap Shoes: Black Capezio Style #356C or equivalent
Ballet Shoes: Pink Capezio Style #212C or equivalent

2nd – 4th Grade Dancers

Leotard with or without skirts (No two-piece or bra-top style outfits)
Tights (footed or footless) or dance leggings. *If you choose footless tights, dancer must wear socks.
Tap Shoes: Black Capezio Style #356C or equivalent
Ballet Shoes: Pink Capezio Style #212C or equivalent
Jazz Shoes: Black Capezio or equivalent

5th Grade Dancers

Leotard with or without skirts (No two-piece or bra-top style outfits)
Tights (footed or footless) or dance leggings. *If you choose footless tights, dancer must wear socks.
Tap Shoes: Black low-heel Capezio style CG18 or CG19
Ballet Shoes: Pink Capezio Style #212C or equivalent
Jazz Shoes: Black Capezio or equivalent

6th – 8th Grade Dancers

Leotard (No two-piece or bra-top style outfits)
Tights (footed or footless) or dance leggings. *If you choose footless tights, dancer must wear socks.
Tap Shoes: Black low-heel Capezio style CG18 or CG19
Ballet Shoes: Pink Capezio Style #212C or equivalent
Jazz Shoes: Tan Capezio or equivalent
Pre-Pointe and Pointe students must have professionally fitted pointe shoes and accessories.

High School Dancers

Ballet and Pointe Class Dress Code

Jazz and Tap Class Dress Code
- Leotard OR tight-fitting athletic/dance top
- Fitted dance leggings
- Jazz Shoes: Tan Capezio or equivalent
- Tap Shoes: Black low-heel Capezio style CG18 or CG19
