What is a preschool class?
Our preschool classes consist of tap, ballet and tumbling taught at each lesson with fanciful themes to encourage imagination and creativity. Low student/teacher ratio. One of the strongest preschool programs in the nation.

What is the Welcome Class?
The Welcome Class is designed for older beginners and for students who are returning after a break in dance education. Tap, ballet and jazz. The Welcome Class is a springboard to accelerate learning and is a temporary class (Fall only). Students who are diligent in learning move into their age groups later in the Fall semester.

What classes are offered for older students?
All students are enrolled in tap and ballet classes. Starting in second grade, students are eligible for jazz which spans all styles of hip hop and Pom. Pointe work is offered for intermediate ballet students starting in middle school.

What performance opportunities are offered?
The Dance Gallery performs many times during the season. It’s A Dance Gallery Christmas in December and the Major Production 2022 in June are the larger performances plus smaller performances at Holiday Happening, Texas Tech basketball games and the Arts Festival.
Did you know that private dance instruction can be a physical education substitution for school?
In accordance with local district policy, a school district may award up to two credits for physical education for appropriate private or commercially-sponsored physical activity programs conducted on or off campus. The district must apply to the commissioner of education for approval of such programs, which may be substituted for state graduation credit in physical education. Check with your school district for further discussion.
Who will teach my child?
Under the direction of Karla McNeill, faculty members are adults with degrees in dance, psychology, education and physical therapy. Our classes are team-taught with one Lead teacher and several support teachers in each classroom.
Why choose The Dance Gallery?
Our motto “where love and dance collide” tells it all. The Dance Gallery is a special place where students are nurtured by their teachers and find great joy making their dance dreams come true!
